Frank Lloyd Wright

Frank Lloyd Wright is definitely one of our favourite architects, born in Richland Center, Wisconsin in 1867 and one of the most influential architects of all time.

A good example of his style is the Guggenheim Museum in New York, for most people probably his most famous design.

For his organic designs he used natural materials such as wood, stone and clay.

Is een van onze favoriete architecten, hij werd geboren te Richland Center, Wisconsin in 1867 en groeide uit tot één van de meest invloedrijke architecten aller tijden.

Een goed voorbeeld van zijn eigen stijl is het Guggenheim museum in New York, dat bij het grote publiek wellicht zijn bekendste ontwerp is.

Voor zijn organische vormgeving maaktte hij veelvoudig gebruik van natuurlijke materialen zoals hout, steen en klei.

Letter Shelves

We are proud of our Dutch stylist, interior designer and art director Stef Bakker, his pictures suits today gray and gloomy weather just perfectly. Although Stef's grays aren't gloomy, they are just beautiful.

The hotel school in Maastricht in the Netherlands has a fully operating hotel on the campus for their students to practise in, designed by some of the world's absolute top designers.

In love with

I just had a look at Anna Gillar's blog, great blog! She blogged about  the up dated portfolio of fantastic photographer Pia Ulin and fell head over heals in love with these pics. Well... I fell in love too!

The light and the amazing styling by Hans Blomquist. I just used a glass bird as props for a photo shoot last week and am using the grey and blue tones in an up coming one and with these pics I know it was and is the right choice.

C’est Tres Magnifique

Featured in Marie Claire Maison, set designer and artistic director, Jean-Christophe Aumas redesigns this Parisian apartment of 95m2 Tenth District and, after a year of work, has recreated an open space bearing a touch of mid-century nostalgia.
